Kil-Kare Dragway say 260 vehicles stage for first round of competition on the final points date for Team Kil-Kare. In the Super Pro quarterfinals we would see Terry Smith of Middletown dial a 4.65 to the 6.11 of Ken Bigler from Beavercreek. Smith would get a great run at the tree with a .503 light, and would see the semis via a 4.674 pass for the win. Next would be George Buchhalter of Fairborn dial in a 5.30 to Matt Phillilps’ 4.94 from Bellbrook. Buchhalter would get the better reaction time with a .525, and would move to the finals on a 5.313 run. The last pair for the round would be Gary Ferguson of Medway dialing a 5.90 to the 5.35 of Jeremy Kessler. Ferguson would chop down the tree with a .504 light and would get the round win with a 5.920.
            In the semis it would be Buchhalter dialing a 5.31 to the 5.91 of Ferguson. Buchhalter once again with the better reaction time, would cut a .508. George would hold the advantage with a 5.311 pass for the ride to the finals. Terry Smith would get the bye to face him.

            In the finals Buchhalter would dial a 5.30 to the 4.66 of Smith. Both racers chased the tree hard, Buchhalter would cut a .5001 in the finals, and make the pass with a 5.314 run for the event win.

            In the Pro quarterfinals it would be Doug Thompson of Columbus dialing an 8.64 to the 6.24 of the IDDU’s Gwayne Honeycutt. Honeycutt would get the better light with a .514 but and would take the breakout win with a 6.247 pass. Next would be Jeff Belcher of McCarther dialing a 6.29 to the 6.93 of Roy Hess from Xenia. Belcher would go red moving Hess to the semis. Next up would be Mike McKinney from Richmond, In. dialing a 6.58 to the 7.73 of Dylan Bair from Urbana. Bair would get a .517 light and would get the breakout win with a 7.754 pass. The last pair for the round would be Charles Roberts of Hillsboro against Wayne Adams of Hamilton. Roberts would dial a 6.78 to the 6.34  of Adams. At the tree it would be Roberts with the advantage cutting a .535, but would take too much stripe making Wayne Adams the double breakout winner with a 6.324 pass.
            In the finals it would be Honeycutt dialing a 6.23 to the 6.93 of Hess. Honeycutt would have the better reaction time with a  .531, and would get the breakout win over Hess with a  6.242 pass. Next would be Bair and Adams to see who would face Honeycutt in the finals. Bair dialed in a 7.74 to the 6.34 of Adams. Adams would go red moving Bair to the finals.
            In the Pro finals Honeycutt dialed a 6.23 to the 7.75 of Bair. Bair would leave first with a .509 reaction time, which would give him the advantage to the event win with a 7.768 pass.

            In Sportsman Class we would see Walt Shade from Fairborn start the round on the Bye run. Next would be Rusty Thompson of Columbus dialing a 13.43 to the 12.08 of Tony McFall from Tipp City. Thompson would get a .546 for the better light, both racers ran out the back door, as the lights came up it would be Thompson on the double breakout win with a 13.426 pass. Next would be Doug Thompson from Columbus dialing a 13.39 to the 12.21 of Dylan Bair from Urbana. Thompson would cut a .542 light and would get the round win with a 13.408 pass.
            In the semis it would be Shade dialing a 12.91 to the 13.42 of Rusty Thompson. Shade would go red and set up an all Thompson final.

            In the finals Doug would dial a 13.34 to the 13.43 of Rusty. Doug would get the better light with a .576 and would take the double breakout win with a 13.325 pass.

            Pro Bike quarterfinals would see Rick Haupt of Farmersville dial an 8.66 to the 9.16 of Darrell Carmichael from Tipp City. Darrell would get the better light with a .516, but it would be Haupt riding to the semis on an 8.647 double breakout round win. Next would be Joe Deck of Morningview, Ky. Dialing an 8.77 to the 8.22 of Michael Hall from Harrison. Deck would get the better reaction time with a .519 light but Hall would ride closer to the numbers with an 8.227 ride. The last pair for the round would be Burt Exman from Englewood dialing an 8.74 to the 10.12 from Kevin Hoskins of Cincinnati. Hosking would cut a .534 for the better light and would make it to the semis on a 10.143 ride.

            In the semis Hosking would dial a 10.13 to the 8.20 of Hall. Hall would chop down the tree with a .504 light, and make his ride in 8.257 seconds to move to the finals. Haupt had the bye run.

            In the finals it would be Hall dialing an 8.18 to the 8.63 of Haupt. Hall once again went after the tree, and yet another .504 light, however it would be Haupt with the win light on an 8.779 pass.

            In the Junior dragster 8-9 class we would see  Cheyenne Master of Urbana dial a 12.94 to the 12.96 from Shelby Stacy from New Cralisle. Stacy would get the better reaction time with a  .576, and would get the win with a 13.080 pass. Next would be Michael Roberts of New Carlisle dial a 13.05 to the 12.90 of Kyle Beavers from Urbana. Roberts would cut the better light with a .551 pass, and would get the win with a 13.087 pass. Next would be Marissa Babb of Xenia dialing a 13.17 to the 12.97 of Hunter Hughes. Hughes would cut a .779 for the better light, and would take the round win with a 13.157 pass. Emily Crum had the bye run into the semis.
            In the semis it would be Hughes dialing a 12.97 to the 13.12 of Crum. Hughes would get the better light with a  .679 and Crum would breakout moving Hughes to the next round. Up next would be Roberts and Stacy to see who would run Hughes in the finals. Roberts dialing in at 13.05 to the 13.02 of Stacy. Stacy would cut a .512 light and would take the double breakout win with a 12.975 pass.

            In the finals it would be Hughes dialing a 12.97 to the 12.92 of Stacy. Stacy would get the better light with a .564 and would take the class win with a 12.929 pass.

            In the 10-12 Jrs we would see Shayla Babb of Xenia dial a 9.10 to the 9.13 of Sara Rowe from Urbana. Rowe would cut a .519 for the better reaction, and would take the round win with a 9.218 run. Next would be Kay Crum of Jamestown dialing an 8.99 to the 9.13 of Garreth Sheppeard from Tipp City. Crum would get the better light with a .609, and would take the breakout win with a 9.073 pass. Michelle Morris had the bye run into the semis.
            In the semis it would be Morris dialing an 8.98 to the 9.04 of Crum. Crum would cut a .551 but would take too much stripe at the finish making Morris the breakout winner with a 9.052 pass. Sara Rowe had the bye.

            In the finals it would be Morris dialing a 9.05 to the 9.11 of Rowe. Morris would cut a .567 light and would take the 10-12 class win with a 9.061 pass.

            In the 13 & Up class it would be Shawn Pitts of London dialing a 7.90 to the 7.94 of Mike Morris of Dayton. Morris would get the better light with a .547 and would take the double breakout win with a  7.933 run. Next would be Walt Crum of Beavercreek dialing an 8.02 to the 7.90 of Ben Browder from Fairborn. Browder would go red moving Crum to the semis. The last pair for the round would see Ciera Phillpot  and Mike Phillpot face off. Ciera would dial a 7.93 to the 8.03 of Mike. Ciera would have the better light with a .542 and would take the win with a 7.962 run.
            In the semis it would be Crum dialing a 7.98 to the 7.92 of Morris. Morris would cut a .511 light and would take the win light with a 7.954 pass. Phillpot had the bye.
            In the finals it would be Phillpot and Morris dialing 7.91 heads up for the class win. Morris would cut a .555 light, Phillpot would push hard to make up ground and would breakout making Morris the winner with a 7.934 run.
