Kil-Kare Dragway Announces 2010 Competition Director
Tuesday February 16, 2010- Kil-Kare Management announced the 2010 competition director today. Rick Nelson will be overseeing the racing program at the ¼ mile strip. Rick brings to the table many years of experience in drag racing, automotive service management, as well as a multiple year seat as the MVDRA president. Kil-Kare management is looking forward to working with Rick in the upcoming 2010 season.
New for 2010! Buckminns D&D Harley Davidson to be Pro Bike and 2 Wheel Tuesday Sponsor! February 12, 2010- Kil-Kare is pleased to announce today that Buckminns D&D Harley Davidson has committed to the 2010 Pro Bike Class sponsorship. Buckminns D&D Harley Davidson has a long history of supporting Kil-Kare, and this year they will be also the Title sponsor of Buckminns D&D Harley Davidson Bike night at Kil-Kare every Tuesday night! First Test and Tune of 2010 Scheduled! February 12, 2010- Kil-Kare announced today that the first Saturday Test and Tune of the 2010 season has been scheduled on Saturday March 20th, weather permitting. Test and Tune will run from Noon to 5:00. Tech cards will be $15, Spectators $7. Make sure to visit the schedule pages and look at the new shows added for the 2010 season including the Great Lakes Nostalgia Funny Car Circuit, the Supercharged Thunder, Chrysler Classic, and more.
2009 Kil-Kare Dragway Banquet of Champions! December 7, 2009- Kil-Kare Speedway announced today that the 2009 Dragway Banquet of Champions will take place on Saturday January 30, 2010. The Banquet will be at the Fairborn American Legion, with doors opening at 6:00! Tickets are $25. Join us for an evening of celebration as we honor the top ten in the Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, and Pro Bike divisions. The Junior Dragster division's Top 5 will also be honored for their accomplishments at Kil-Kare Speedway. to order your tickets, call the Kil-Kare offices at (937)429-2961, or order online by clicking here! Dragway Pit Pad Renewals December 11, 2009- Due to the influx of phone calls to the Kil-Kare offices, Management has decided to address the concerns of many racers regarding the new pricing for pit pads in 2010. The raise in pit pad pricing is to generate revenue for facility improvements. Kil-Kare's Management is looking to improve our pits to make it more racer friendly. As we have tried to keep the weekly cost of racing affordable, to participate and to spectate, Management has determined that the increase was a necessity to be able to make capital improvements at Kil-Kare. The revenue that will be generated from the pit pad rentals will be used to make improvements such as, electricity at all pit pads, showers in the restrooms. This is to make the 2010 season and many to come more comfortable for the racers and fans that join us every event. Management is hopeful that our racers will see the value that they are already receiving and the value that you will continue to receive in the coming years. As these improvements will take time to implement, there is no set date for completion at this time. We appreciate everyone's input and their business from the 2009 season and many seasons to come!
