Main Event Super Late Models visit
Kil-Kare for the Final appearance in 2009!

 

            Friday September 4, the Main Event Racing Series will return to Kil-Kare Speedway for the final showing in 2009. Gates will open at 6:00 with qualifying at 6:30. K99.1 FM’s Rowdy Jay will be broadcasting live from 5:00-7:00. Main Event Super Late Model drivers will be on hand from 7:00-7:30 behind the main grandstands for an autograph session. The first 100 children through the gate will receive a free checkered flag to have autographed by their favorite drivers. See if defending Champion Tim Ice will be able to hold off points leader Gary Whipkey and the rest of the Main Event Series competitors. Modifieds, Sport Stocks and Compacts will also compete in a Non-Nascar Race, which is open to any cars that meet tech guidelines. Pits will open at 2:00 for Main Event Super Late Model Practice sessions; all other classes will begin practice at 5:00. Make sure to be here for the final visit from the Main Event Super Late Model Series at Kil-Kare Speedway. Pit admission is $30, Spectators admission is $15 for Adults, Kids 12-15 $5 11 & under FREE! Rain checks from August 28th may be used with a $5 Upgrade


Kil-Kare will conclude the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Schedule on September 11, 2009 with double features for all classes. Also to be in attendance will be the IKO Minicup Cars as well as the FAST Legends. Rain checks may also be used for the September 11th event as well with no upgrade fee. Sport Stock & Compact drivers who have two passes would be able to use them for the double features. Late Models, Modified, and IKO Minicup Drivers who have a single rain check may use them for their first feature, but Late Models and Modifieds will need to pay for the second and final feature of the points season.  Pits will open at 4:00 on Friday September 11 and Spectator Gates will open at 6:00! Adults Admission on September 11 will be $10 for Adults, Kids 12-15 $5 11 & under FREE!
