DARF Schedules "Tribute to Chick Hale Night"
 
Dayton, OH. - The February 22 meeting of the Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club has be delegated as a evening to remember the legendary driver Chick Hale who passed away on January 11.
 
  The meeting is open to the public and fans are encouraged to attend as DARF pays "Tribute to Chick Hale Night". Photos and story's are welcome to share with the attendee's on a night to remember the driver who actively competed some sixty years.
 
  Meeting starts at 7 p..m. in the meeting hall of Jackass Flats located in Dayton's north east area at Rip Rap and Fishburg Roads.

DARF Adds Seven More Dates
 
Dayton, Oh. - The list of area race tracks offering the members of the Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club track nights is growing as three tracks and seven dates have been added to the schedule.
 
  The Waynesfield Motorsports Park quarter-mile dirt track near Waynesfield, Ohio will welcome the members on May 21 and June 11 for free night of racing.
 
  Kil-Kare Raceway located west of Xenia, Ohio will entertain the members to a free night of NHRA drag racing on July 23 while the speedway will admit them free to the grandstands on August 26 for a night of NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events on the 3/8ths mile oval.
 
  35 Raceway Park which is located just outside of Frankfort, Ohio will provide action on their fifth-mile dirt oval with free grandstand admission on May 28, June 25, and August 20.
 
  Racing enthusiasts who are not members of the DARF organization are invited to join as membership is just $15 per person which entitles them to attend all the track dates and also two free picnic's during the season.

  The next DARF monthly meeting will be February 22 and is titled "A Tribute To Chick Hale" night and is open to the public. Meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the social hall at Jackass Flats, Fishburg and Rip Rap Road in Dayton.

For those that had the honor of attending events at the glorious high-banked track and throughout the years witnessed spectacular events, a trip through the website will certainly bring back many memory's.
 
Thanks to Mickey Thompson and the DSL staff the long closed track is being relived through their efforts, let the track never be forgotten.

 
 
Moler Raceway Park Grants DARF Four Dates
 
Dayton, OH. The popular Moler Raceway Park's promoters Kevin and Kim Moler have set aside four dates at their quarter-mile dirt track this year for the members of the Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club.
  The first will be April 29 when the AMSA 1200cc Winged Mini-Sprints will be added to the regular program of Late Models, Modifieds, Chevettes, and Street Stocks.
  July 1st DARF members will be in for a special treat as a large fireworks display will follow the $1500 to win UMP Midwest Modified Mania event in addition to Late Models, Chevettes, and Street Stocks.
  The third date on August 26th will be Fan Appreciation Night with an autograph session on the frontstretch and will also feature a $600 to win street stock special.
  Event number four will be another special night, season championship points night for all regular divisions plus $2000 going to the late model feature winner.
  All DARF date events will see DARF members treated to free admission to the grandstands by showing their current membership card.
  Gates at Moler open at 4:30 p.m, hot laps 7 p.m., and racing at 7:30 p.m.
